Q: How do I check product availability?
A: Our online catalogue is maintained daily, and as such, if a product is listed, it is more than likely available. In the event a product you have ordered is not immediately available we will contact you to inform you of the delay and confirm your order status.

Q: Do you have any special promotions?
A: At select times we advertise special online savings or a combination of online and in-store savings. To recieve special promotions simply join our Mailing List.

Q: Are prices the same online as they are in-store?
A: ToolTown Inc. maintains the same regular prices online as in-store customers receive. However, from time to time ToolTown Inc. will have web only promotion prices in effect which are only available for purchase on our website. Prices listed on this website do not include Tax & Shipping.

Q: Does ToolTown have retail outlets to shop?
A: Yes. Please see our Store Locator

Q: Does your prices include shipping costs?
A: No, our prices do not include shipping costs. Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination & weight of the order. During the checkout process you will get a shipping quote before you complete your order.
 


Payment FAQ  
 
Q: Is it safe to enter my credit card info online?
A: Absolutely. ToolTown uses SSL Technology (Secure Sockets Layer) to process credit card transactions. We also do not store any account information. We always use industry standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving any data that you exchange with our site. We employ the same industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology that is used by major banks and stock brokerage firms to conduct business via the Internet. This encryption procedure "scrambles" the information you send us and makes online transactions extremely safe. Despite what you may have heard, it is not a simple "hack" to intercept your personal info and decode it. Billions of dollars of transactions are conducted via the web every day. In addition, when paying by Visa and if enrolled in Verified by Visa, you have additional protection on our website.

Q: What are my payment options?
A: You can pay using your Visa, Mastercard, PayPal account or by Interac Online (Coming Soon). In addition, we accept Certified Cheques and Money Orders, your order will not be processed until payment has been processed. Phone & Fax orders are also accepted.

Q: Can I pay for my order over the telephone?
A: Yes. In addition to shopping our site, you can place an order via fax at (877) 478-1887 or by phone at (888) 665-8696.
 


Shipping FAQ  
 
Q: How long will it take for my order to arrive?
A: Please allow 7-10 business days for delivery of your merchandise.

Q: How long will it take for my order to be processed?
A: Most orders are processed for shipping within 1 business day after they are placed. If for any reason your order is delayed, you will be contacted by a Customer Service Representative.

Q: What are my shipping options?
A: Our shipping options are displayed in the shipping portion of the checkout process. Currently ToolTown Inc. ships with Canada Post, Fedex Ground, and General Courier Service.

Q: Are there additional costs to ship orders to remote locations?
A: Yes. Customers who live in remote areas will be required to pay additional shipping costs. These additional costs will be added to your invoice and a customer service rep will contact you to advise the shipping costs. If the order is over 75 lbs you may be required to contact our Customer Service center at 888-665-8696 for a rate quote.

Q: Can my "Ship to" address be different than my "Bill to" address?
A: Yes. Please note that your billing address must match that on file with your credit card company.

Q: Can I track my order once it has been shipped?
A: Depending on the shipping method you selected at checkout, you may be able to track your package online. If you selected Canada Post, you should receive an e-mail with tracking information, if not please follow the link and enter the tracking information. If you selected another carrier you can call (888) 665-8696 to speak with a Customer Service representative.

Q: How do I return something I bought at tooltown.ca?
A: Please see our Return policy for instructions on returning product to us.

Q: If I return something at my local store, will I get my initial shipping charges back?
A: Unfortunately, the original shipping costs are not refunded online or in-store.

Q: I have a technical concern with this website. What should I do?
A: If you have website related issues, you can e-mail the Administrator. 

Q: Does ToolTown offer Franchise opportunities?
A: No, currently ToolTown does not offer Franchise opportunities. If you would like to contact us about future consideration, please feel free to fill out the Contact us form.

Q: Can I receive wholesale pricing if I purchase large quantities?
A: If you wish to purchase a large amount of product for resale, and receive discount pricing please contact our Sales department. 

Q: Does ToolTown offer Customer charge accounts?
A: Unfortunately, ToolTown currently does not offer charge accounts. All sales are cash & carry.

Q: I am a wholesaler, who do I contact to discuss my product line?
A: If you are a wholesaler or distributor, and wish to discuss your product line with a buyer, please contact our Purchasing department. 
 


Mobile Sale FAQ  
 
Q: Can I be notified of upcoming sales in my area?
A: If you would like e-mail notifications of an upcoming sale in your area you will need to register on the website. You will then be notified of any upcoming sale information in your area.

Q: I missed a sale that you recently had in my area, can I place an order for the same prices?
A: The prices for our mobile sales are available for approximately 30 days following the sale. You can place an order online or through our Customer Service line @ (888) 665-8696. Please note that the prices may change without notice.
